The Accident Insurance Plan provides insurance for Apprentices and Trainees while participating in, including direct travel to and from, apprenticeship and training classes and meetings sponsored by the participating Local.
| $25,000 | Accident Medical
Expense Benefit (after a deductible of $25 per accident) |
Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefit:
| $25,000 | Accidental Death |
| $25,000 | for the loss of either two hands, two feet, two eyes, or any combination of any two of the above. |
| $12,500 | for the loss of either one hand, one foot, or one eye |
Optional Benefit:
| $200 or $400 | Maximum Weekly Disability
Benefit (Maximum number of weeks: 52 weeks) |
If you have an accident that results in medical expenses, contact your Local's administrative office. You will have to complete a claim form and submit with itemized medical bills to:

Claim payments come directly from AIG (the insurance company) and generally take about 4 weeks from the time the completed claim is received.
